Rachel Feinstein is a New York City based photographer.
She is inspired by classic cinema, expressive fashion, and color theory. Her work centers around the space that women hold in our society by pulling from the feel of a cinematic still from the past and adding in a surprising element to create a slight discomfort for the audience. Her goal is to create pieces that force the audience to feel as if they were transported into the woman’s point of view and the discomfort that comes with that. Rachel received a BFA in Photography from Kent State University.
